We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2024, at the age of 80, Roger L Carpenter of Philippi, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Arden, John, Kecil, Freeman Carpenter, Rosalee and Gertrude (Neely); and his wife Linda K. Carpenter.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Carpenter, Ralph Carpenter (Donna), Wayne Carpenter, Lonzo Carpenter, Faye Rhodes and Mary Ann Rowann; and his children, Angela Dudley (Rick), David Howe, April Elliott (Mike), Roger Carpenter (Tonya) and Melissa Carpenter. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home (95 S Kanawha St, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
