Robert Wolfe Obituary
Robert Wolfe, age 74, a resident of Mansfield Place, formerly of Belington passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Mansfield Place, following an extended illness.
He was born on December 7, 1950, in Brownton a son to the late Charles and Lorraine Wolfe.
Robert leaves behind two sons; Robert E. Wolfe of Belington, and Charles Wolfe, two daughters; Patty Jones, and companion J.P. Phillips, and Christine L. Wolfe, and companion, Chris Leggett of Belington, grandchildren; Andrew Yost, and wife Christine, Jacob Robert Wolfe, Kenneth Nicholson Jr., great grandchildren; Monte Yost, Aspen Yost, Grace Mohr, and Elijah Nicholson, one sister; Liz Bolyard, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by one grandson, Donovan Nicholson, brothers: Charlie Wolfe and Pete Wolfe, one sister, Rose Scott.
He was a Coal Miner, he liked to have a good time, drinking warm Milwaukee's Best Beer, rubbing his snuff, being a ladies man, and he enjoyed fishing. He made several friends at Mansfield Place. He brought quiet strength into the lives around him. He had a way of making everyone feel valued and loved, his spirit will continue to live on through the memories he created with his family and friends.
Family and friends may gather at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi, on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 6pm until 8pm. In following Mr. Wolfe's wishes his remains will be cremated. The Kittle Family Funeral Home of Philippi is honored to be assisting the family with the arrangements.
