He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Leslie Tighe and Myrtle Catherine Tighe (Grow); and his siblings, Thomas, James, Paul David and Carol Anne.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Chapline; his daughters, Kathleen Tighe-Smith (Neal) of Albuquerque, Catherine Bowman (Paul II) of Mt. Clare and Leslie Maley (Frank) of Nestorville; his grandchildren, Holli Junkins (Kevin), Aaron Griffith, Sarah Bowman, Emily Bowman-Stickel (Kyle), Frank Maley, Andra Smith and Raven Smith; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Olivia, Jacob, Layla and Delilah Junkins; his siblings, John Tighe (Donna) of Grafton and June Burgoyne (Richard) of Newburg; and his friend Peggy Hurst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (220 N Walnut St, Philippi, WV 26416). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
