Nancy Ware Obituary
Nancy Lee Ware, age 72, a resident of Philippi, West Virginia and a former resident of Belington, West Virginia passed away from this life on Wednesday, January 31, 2023, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. With her family by her side. She had been in declining health however her death was sudden and unexpected. Nancy was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
She was born on August 16, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland. A daughter to the late William Underwood and Dorothy (Mason) Underwood. Nancy's departure from this world leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She was untied in marriage to Wilbert Ware who preceded her in death.
Nancy is survived by her beloved daughter, Christina Adams, and husband Richie Adams who stood by her through thick and thin. Grandchildren, Kristina Starkey, Katrina Golden, Frieda Beccaloni, Richard Adams, and wife Katarina Adams; eight grandchildren; brother, Earl Brown; sister Diana Miller, and husband David Miller; brother-in-law, Roy Underwood.
Preceding her death beside her parents and husband was a brother, Richard Underwood.
Nancy enjoyed drinking coffee while sitting outside of Hardees of Philippi as she watched traffic go by. She loved playing with her grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles, and reading. Nancy was a wonderful lady who is going to be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Family and friends may privately gather at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi, WV., on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, when a funeral service will be conducted. Elder Leo Krajewski and the Rev. David "Cowboy" Brown officiating. According to Nancy's wishes her remains will be cremated.
