Melanie Maxwell Obituary
Melanie Renea (Rinko) Maxwell, age 47, a former resident of Ohio, and more recently a resident of Philippi, West Virginia departed this life on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Mansfield Place with her family by her side. She had been declining in health for quite some time.
She was born on February 26, 1977, in Vincenza, Italy. A daughter of Nicholas Rinko, and wife Patricia of New York, and Deborah (Poling) Burner, and husband Gary of Philippi.
Melanie is survived by her sister; Kimberly Delauder, and husband Mike of Philippi, brothers; Michael Rinko, and wife Dianna of Winchester TN, and Dennis Burner of Philippi, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Maxwell.
She was a Certified Nurse's Assistant until she became ill. She loved collecting anything that was Winnie the Pooh, loved to color, travel, and to pass the time she enjoyed watching the Facts of Life, Reba, and COPS. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Melanie was known for her infectious laughter, compassionate spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She was a dedicated daughter, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives.
Services for Melanie are private, and in honoring her wishes cremation will follow. The Kittle Family Funeral Home, 265 Beech Ave., Philippi is honored to be assisting the family with Melanie's arrangements.
