He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dewayne Newman and Eileen Mayle; his stepfather Carney "Studbolt" Mayle; and his half-sister Alisa Gearhart. He is survived by: his sons, Shawn Newman and Joshua Newman (Roxie Campbell); his siblings, Darlene Newman, Mary Miller, Leroy Newman and Frankie Newman (Ursula); his uncle Kenny Newman; and his aunts, Della Mayle and Sharon Humphreys. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
