He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradford Phillips and Bessie Anglin Phillips; his wife Genevieve Townsend; and his brothers, Burl, Ralph and Delmar Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Zirkle (Terry) of Lumberport, Ron Phillips (Lilah) of Philippi and Karen Lamb of Philippi; his grandchildren, Joseph Zirkle, Sarah Hall, Kristen McDonald, Garrett Phillips, Mallory Zuercher, Codi Rose, Jordan Lamb and Jessica Tompkins; and his sister Rosemary Wilt of Mentor, Ohio.. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
