He was predeceased by: his parents, Don McVicker and Oda Del McVicker (Poe); his sisters, Shirley Jacobs (William) of Flemington and Mae Nestor; and his brother-in-law Hubert Nestor.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean (McCauley) of Grafton; his son James Lindell McVicker (Betty) of Philippi; his granddaughter Bridget Mayle (Nathaniel) of Philippi; his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Luke and Leah Mayle; his close friend Alice Jean Walker (Saucer) of Philippi; his son Jason Walker (Kim Stemple) of Philippi; his grandson Tyler Walker (Jessica) of Nestorville; his great grandchildren, Leighton and Ahson Walker of Nestorville; and his friend Donald Williamson of Clemtown Community.
In lieu of flowers family asked that memorial contributions be made to Mariah's Chapel United Methodist Church c/o Karen Compton 4760 Clemtown Rd. Philippi, WV 26416.
