He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allison Brockwell, Sr. and Dorothy Daisy Brockwell (Hollifield); his wife Ruth Brockwell (Powell); and his sister Dorothy Brockwell. He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Grimes of Salem and Dorothy Jones (Greg) of Philippi; and his grandchildren, Beth Norris, Greg Jones and Matt Jones. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
