It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Albert Strahin of Philippi, West Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Filmore and Sarah Alice Strahin (McDaniel); and his daughter-in-law Yvonne Strahin (Hall). He is survived by: his wife Willa Rose Strahin (Moore); his children, Kelly Joe Strahin (Melissa), Robert Lynn Strahin (Cynthia), Marrissa Strahin (Mark Haddix), Sarah Kelley (Thad) and Daniel Ray Strahin (late Yvonne); his grandchildren, Heaven, Samantha, Jessica Strahin, Nicholas, Vanessa Kelley, Isaac Cleavenger, Austin, Aubrey Strahin and Willow Norris; his great grandchildren, Mila Rae and Atreus Robert Strahin; and his siblings, Clara Hipp, Mary Crow (Oscar) and Ralph Strahin.
