He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Croston and Maybell Croston (Newman); his son Crolin Ira Mayle; and his siblings, Burnett Croston, Edna Collins, Vietta Newman and Gary Croston.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Elaine Croston (Mayle); his son Keith Randall Croston (Amber Tracy Elaine); his siblings, Joyce Newman of Minerva, OH and Correl Croston of Philippi; his grandchildren, Ashley Dawn Croston, Jessica Renee Miner, Monica Lynn Shaffer, Brittany Nicole O'Dell, Brandon Hartzel Mayle, Samantha Yvonne Croston, Aaron Mitchel Norris, Michael Steven Hunter, Lauran Adell Howdershelt, Matthew Trey Hunter and Zoey Kaitlyn Collins; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Dawn Poling, Avery Laine Shaffer, Rachel Brooke Norris, Rose Michelle Norris, Lainey Brooke Mayle, Ellie Rose Shaffer, Brantley Chase Mayle, Maci Judith Norris, Jett Michael Hunter, Emmett Reed Shaffer, Kingsley Jean O'Dell and Owen Andrew Howdershelt.
