He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Pete and Evangeline Tallman Lantz; and his siblings, JoAnn Rohr and Jimmy Lantz. He is survived by: his son Bob Sherwood (Sharla) of Gilmer County, WV; his grandchildren, Andrew Sherwood of Gilmer County, Bob Sherwood, III of Buckhannon, Brandon Paul Jones of Gilmer County, Destiny Akers (Tyler) of Volga, WV and Cierra Sherwood of Gilmer County; his great grandchildren, Maverick of Volga and Lincoln Akers of Volga; and his brother Michael Lantz (Bonnie) of Buckhannon.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
