It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Swartz of Philippi, West Virginia, born in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Levi and Lillian Schular Swartz; his wife Agnes Arlene Lantz; his brothers, William and Dale Swartz; his granddaughter Megan Swartz; and his great grandchildren, Breanna Gibson and Caleb Shahan.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Rhodes (Larry) of Rainelle, Debra Clark of Pennsylvania, James Lee Swartz (Barbara) of Belington, William Dale Swartz of Philippi and Joyce Lewis (Steve) of Belington; and his brothers, Marvin Swartz of Pennsylvania and Jay Swartz (Sandy) of South Carolina. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
