He is survived by: his stepmother Lillina Schola (Bryan); his sons, Sam Schola (Carol Smiley) of Philippi Clifford and Willis (Patricia "Pat") of Buckhannon Three; his grandchildren, Jed Schola (Misty) of Philippi, Rebecca Wilfong (Brent) of Buckhannon and Ryan Willis (Filica Hooper) of Buckhannon Three; and his great grandchildren, Grant and Madison Schola.
