She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Chaney and Genevieve McFarland Chaney. She is survived by: her close friend David Daughtery; her children, Tammy Lowery of Philippi and Jason Smith of Linderhurst, NY; and her grandchildren, Corey Lowery, Derek Wichmann, Lidia Smith, Neverly Smith and Jason Smith, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
