With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Jean Edge (Philippi, West Virginia), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Jean Edge to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Spear and Thelma M. Spear (Tucker); and her grandparents, Delbert, Lesie Tucker (Green), John and Sarah Spear (Ashbaugh).
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Jim Carnahan and Tonda Spear (Coontz); her husband John W. Edge; her sons, Brian S. Edge (Rhonda) of Fairmont, WV. and Kevin (Valley Furnace); her siblings, Jim Spear (Kim) of Stonewood, WV, Jo Claire Carnahan (Spear) and John Spear of Boone, NC.; and her nieces and nephews, Justin Spear (Erin), Tyler Spear (Jenny), Jesse Spear (Cortney), Stacey Spear and Catlin Carnahan.
