He is survived by: his wife Karen Lee Maughan; his daughter Rosella Davis of Navarre; his stepchildren, Howard Scott IV of Pennsylvania, James Scott (Nancy) of Pennsylvania, Shari Dickenson (Dick) of Wisconsin and Charles Gleason Jr. (Jennifer) of New Jersey; his siblings, Nellie Beszie (Vincent) of New York, Patricia Ann Shahan Myers of Pennsylvania, Robert James Shahan of Las Vegas and Isabella Shahan Faison (Robert) of Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Catherine Hardin of North Carolina and Gail Whipkey of Ohio. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren, and one step great-great grandchild.
