He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus "Lum" Nestor and Lula Stemple Nestor; his wife Kathern Imogene Harris; his son Wesley E. Nestor; his siblings, Ted Nestor, Ray Nestor, Delmer Nestor, Edwin Murl Nestor, Opal Holsberry, Edna Lutz and Louise Furbee; and his son-in-law John Fitzwater.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Fitzwater of Belington and Robin "Rob" Nestor of Philippi; his foster son Philip Basnett (Donna) of Shinnston, WV; his adoptive son Mike McCartney of Philippi; his brother Edsil Dale Nestor (Myrtle) of Beltsville, MD.; his grandchildren, Erin Nestor, John Todd Fitzwater, Philip Basnett and Angela Carder; his granddaughter-in-law Char Fitzwater; and his great grandchildren, Sydney Louise Fitzwater, Kaden Carter, Katie Basnett and McKenzie Carder.
