Billy Miner Obituary
Billy Miner., age 71, a resident of Philippi, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his home with his brothers by his side. Following an extended illness.
He was born on May 19, 1953, in Philippi a son to the Edward B. Miner, and the late Minerva (Croston) Robinson.
Billy leaves behind brothers; Frankie Miner, Edwin "Butch" Miner, Davey Miner, and Lester Miner, beloved sister; Rose Norris, who held a special place in his heart. Their bond was a testament to the love and support shared within their family several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, stepfather, Robert Robinson, his monkey, Curious George, and his dog, Spike.
He was preceded in death by a brother; Bobby Miner, sister; Murlenius Westfall.
Mr. Miner was a Pentecostal by faith; he loved playing with cars and trucks, going on picnics, eating hot dogs and hamburgers with his family at Blackwater Falls. Billy loved to cut up with folks and tell jokes. Billy, who was known for his caring spirit and unwavering kindness, spent his life embracing the joys and challenges that came his way. He will be dearly remembered by his family and friends for his unique personality and the love he shared.
Family and friends may gather at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 10am until 12 pm, the funeral hour, with Evangelist Ezik S. Norris officiating. Billy will be laid to rest in a serene burial, a final resting place that reflects the love he gave to his family and friends throughout his life in the Welch Cemetery near Moatsville.
