He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leslie and Elizabeth Hendricks Nelson. He is survived by: his son Ricky Nelson of Queensland; and his siblings, Paul Nelson (Nanette) of Racine and Virginia Perry (Tommy) of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by one granddaughter and two nieces.
