He was predeceased by: his wife Maxine Beulah Kidd Post of Peytona; his son James Joseph Post; his stepdaughter Karen Lynn Ratliff; his parents, Earl McDonald and Ida Post; and his brother David McDonald.
He is survived by: his stepson Randall Hall (Connie) of Belle; and his close friend Reva King of Bloomingrose. He is also survived by two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
