He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Halstead and Cephie Halstead; his wife Juanita; his siblings, Charles, Betty, Richard, Delmer and Gene; his daughter Tina; and his friend Cecil McKinney.
He is survived by: his sons, Richie Halstead of Racine and Larry "Sniffer" Halstead of Drawdy; and his brother Elmer Halstead. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of extended children and grandchildren.
