He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Utterback and Ocie Barton; his in-laws, Eugene and Thelma Allen; his siblings, Bob, Jim Utterback, Nellie Hutchinson and Nancy Sizemore; his brothers-in-law, William Hutchinson, Bob Collins and Jackie Harvey; and his granddaughter Miranda Utterback.
He is survived by: his children, Trina Shoda (Mike) and Terry Utterback (Sheila) of Peterstown, WV; his grandchildren, Timmy Williams (Lisa), Brandon Harvey, Olivia Utterback, Jamie Shoda (Tabitha), Kayla Hazelwood (Adam), Alania McKlarney (Isaac), Kaydance, Stella, Ember, Braxton, Daniella, Barrett and William; his siblings, Gayle Collins, Nora-Sue Dunn (Joey) and Charles Barton (Bonnie); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Harvey, Jimmy Allen (Sonnie), Richard Allen (Gayle) and Dave Sizemore. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (111 Market St, Peterstown, WV 24963). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
