He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Everett Widdoes and Ruth Trump Widdoes. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Widdoes; his sons, Eric Widdoes (Dana) of Peterstown and Chris Widdoes of Ohio; his stepsons, Steven Lester (Makayla) of Peterstown and Michael Lester (Rachael) of Rich Creek, VA; his siblings, Lydia Meredith of Smithfield, VA and Tommy Widdoes of Peterstown; and his grandchildren, Chloe, Noah Widdoes, Ellie, Amelia Lester, Kade, Keaton and Dax Lester. He is also survived by three nieces, seven great nieces, and five great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (111 Market St, Peterstown, WV 24963). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
