She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" and Ruth Pyne Amos; her sons, Robert Lee and Clarence William McMahan; her siblings, Eugene Amos (Lucille), John Amos (Joy), Claude "Pootsie" Amos, Otis Amos, Jimmy Amos (Juanita), Evelyn Turner (Henry), Thelma Amos and Betty Vaughn; and her siblings-in-law, Richard McMahan and Frances Amos.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lee McMahan; her daughter Patti Lea McMahan-Heaster (Gary) of Zenith, WV; her granddaughter Bailey; and her siblings, Florence Amos of Rock Camp, WV, Martha Richards of Rock Camp, WV and Charlie Amos of Rock Camp, WV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Patricia Ruth Amos McMahan, 74, of Zenith, WV, earned her wings after a long battle with Alzheimer's on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at the Springfield Center with her daughter by her side.
