She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Handy and Waneta Cole Handy; and her siblings, Marvin Eugene Handy, Roger Dean Handy, Leonard Handy Jr., Wanda Marie Crawford and Mary Margaret Blankenship.
She is survived by: her daughter Serina Adams (Randall) of Ballard, WV; her grandsons, Billy and David Adams; her great grandchild Wesley Adams; her sons, Michael and David Herring; and her siblings, Jackie Handy (Kathy) of Ballard, WV, Melvin Handy of Lindside, WV, Anthony Handy of Peterstown, WV, Lorine Handy of Lindside, WV and Melinda Handy of Rock Camp, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
