She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fellhauer and Blanche Fellhauer; her husband Rev. Girard Marshall Fowler; her son Girard Stephen Fowler; and her brothers, Jabe, Louis, Edward and Richard Fellhauer.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Jan Crickard (Sam) of Warren, IN, Lori Miller, Kari Gilkison, Alisa Pence (Greg) of Peterstown, WV, Sarah McDaid and Cody Pence; her grandson Forest Fowler (Karen) of Lindside, WV; and her siblings, Wilma Whitmore of Kennedy, NY, Marian Whitehead of Wellington, CO and Larry Fellhauer (Sharon) of Wichita Falls, TX.. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Those wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so with the Community Foundation of Jackson County for the Jackson County 4-H Fund c/o JCCF, Inc., 108 North Church Street, Ripley, WV 25271 to continue the support of the scholarship fund originally established in the name of Nellie's son Steve.
