He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Jackson Wilburn and Mary Ellen Blankenship Wilburn; and his siblings, Louise Trent, W. C. Wilburn, Clovis Wilburn, Robie Wilburn, Rosa Lee Cox and Barbara Wilburn.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Ball Wilburn; his daughter Crystal Wilburn Evans of Christiansburg, VA; his grandchildren, Ceilia Evans and Isaac Evans; his stepson S. Troy Fisher (Carla) of Christiansburg, VA; his son-in-law Mike Evans (Lori) of Pearisburg, VA; and his siblings, Marshall Wilburn (Sharon) and Carrie Ellen Shires. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
