It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hutto (Peterstown, West Virginia), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Russell Newsome Sr. and Ruth Grace Shoveler Newsome. She is survived by: her husband John Hutto III; her son John Hutto IV; her siblings, Alice Janet Jackson, Virginia Louise Newsome and Wilbert Russell Newsome Jr.; her daughters, Marjorie R Hutto Grant (Horace), Terretta L Hutto and Laurrinda H Saxon Ward (Larry) of Columbia; her granddaughters, Jessica L Saxon of Columbia and Haylle H Saxon Fant (Jason) of England; and her siblings, Justine N. Nall of Union, Shirley S. Hobson (Floyd) of Roanoke, Virginia. and Phillip Wayne Newsome of Lindside. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Due to the regulations associated with COVID-19, those attending the visitation and memorial service are strongly encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
