He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Hazelwood and Edna Dent Hazelwood; his significant other Margaret Bradley Hazelwood; and his siblings, Barry Hazelwood, Dwight Hazelwood, David Hazelwood and Marsha Bledsoe.
He is survived by: his children, Sodonia Garner (Steve) of Pearisburg, VA, Michelle Kinzer of Peterstown, WV and Jamie Hazelwood (Kim) of Peterstown, WV; his granddaughters, Sasha Hill (Jarrod) of Peterstown, WV and Jaden Kinzer of Peterstown, WV; his great grandchild Waylon Hill; his siblings, Stewart Hazelwood (Jane) of Rich Creek, VA, Danny Hazelwood (Barbara) of Princeton, WV, Jeff Hazelwood (Kay) of Princeton, WV, Sandra Williams (Jimmy) of Christiansburg, VA and Kathy Bledsoe (Dale) of Kegley, WV; and his nephew J. J. Fleeman of Salisbury, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (111 Market St, Peterstown, WV 24963). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bradley Cemetery at the First National Bank of Peterstown or mailed to the bank at P.O. Box 550, Peterstown, WV 24963.
