He is survived by: his children, Robert Dial (Erin) of Frankfort, KY, Billy Joe Dial, James E. Dial, Jr. (Anna-Marie) and Melissa Midkiff (John) of Staffordsville, VA; and his siblings, Wayne Dial of Tazewell, VA and Karen Ollinger of Tazewell, VA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
