She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Harvey (Shan) and Stella Faye Ward; her former husband Frank Brumit; her stepson Danny Brumit; her daughter-in-law Vera Bennett; and her siblings, Ruth Wright, Mary Farmer, Virginia Carol Ward and Howard Junior Ward.
She is survived by: her husband Michael L. Rule; her children, P. J. Bennett (Terri Tefft) of Lindside, Rebecca Garletts (Mike) of Hinton and Robin Anderson (W. Cameron) of Knoxville, TN; her stepson Michael L. Rule Jr. (Annie) of Peterstown; her grandchildren, Missy Nairn, Mike Bennett, Adam, Chris Marcum, S. Nick, Josh Canterbury, Jeremy Rule, Steven Brumit and Melanie Stewart; her siblings, Charlie Ward (Christine Gill), Deloris Young, Bea Taylor (Jimmy), Jewel Bruce and Millie Nelson (Jim); and her niece Carolyn Foster. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
