She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Lester and Minnie Jones Lester; her husband Steward W. Long; her sons, Harold and Calvin Long; and her granddaughter Michelle Denese Long.
She is survived by: her children, Woody Long (Nancy) of Waverly, TN and Carolyn Smith (Bill) of Narrows, VA; her sister Betty Perks of Rocky Mount, VA; and her daughter-in-law Phyllis Long. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.
