Florence Via Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Via (Peterstown, West Virginia), born in Oakvale, West Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Hill and Effie Cecil Hill; her husband Dennis Via; and her siblings, George Hill, Catherine Moorehead and Agnes Nunley.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Via (Lynn Parcell Akers) of Land and Joyce Ann Fox (Bill) of Narrows, VA; her brother Everette Hill, Jr. (Frances) of Rich Creek, VA; and her grandchildren, Lee Snidow (Elaine), Angela Via-Rogers (Phillip), Brian Snidow (Karen Harris) and Chris Via. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association (225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601).
