He was predeceased by: his siblings, Louise S. Sutton of Carrollton, AL and Kenneth G. Johnson of Andalusia, AL.. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela J. Smith of Narrows, VA; and his granddaughter MeCalla N. Smith of Atlanta, GA.
