She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ellen Wilburn Shires of Rich Creek, VA and Arnold M. Shires; her brother Stevie Shires; her sons, Derrick Reed (Kara) of Rich Creek, VA and Cody Reed (Natasha Martin) of Pearisburg, VA; her brothers, Greg Shires (Lisa) of Rich Creek, VA and Robin Shires (Wanda) of Chesterfield, VA; her grandchildren, Karsyn, Ryker and Raelyn Reed; and her close friend Linda Trent Spangler. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
