He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lacy and Virginia L. Robertson Reed; his wife Karen Arnold Reed; and his sister Rebecca Via. He is survived by: his children, Eric Reed of Peterstown, WV and Tammy Dobbins (Jerel) of Radford, VA; his brothers, Michael Reed of Princeton, WV and Charles "Bill" Reed of Willowton, WV; his grandchildren, Danielle "Nikki" Williams, Amanda Lester, Lacy Reed, Jesse Collins, Caitlin Reed and Emily Reed; and his grandfathers, Reagan, Griffin, Luke, Rory, Reuben and Esmond. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
