He is survived by: his wife Dreama Settle; his children, Dr. Kristin Bowman (Kevin) of Bluefield, WV, Rebecca Settle (Charles Haggard) of Huntington, WV, Leslie Gillespie (Jim) of Bluefield, WV and Christian Chord Settle (Megan) of Rock Hill, SC; his stepsons, Jeremy Brown (Tami) of Peterstown and Brandon Brown (Shana) of Arlington, WA; his grandchildren, Spencer Gillespie, Harper Gillespie, Hadley Bowman and Everette Settle; his stepgrandchildren, Alexandra Brown, Grace Brown, Carter Brown and Emma Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Hill of Elkview, WV, Linda Vernon of Salem, VA and Theresa of Princeton, WV.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peterstown Worship Center (47 Race St, Peterstown, WV 24963). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
