It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Basil Trivette (Peterstown, West Virginia), born in Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Monroe Trivette and Geneive Hattie Green Trivette; his former wife Letha M. Trivette; his children, Judy Ann McClaugherty and Alvin Wayne Trivette; and his great grandchildren, Cody Ray McGuire and Nicole Stanton.
He is survived by: his wife Lila P. Hedrick Sneed; his daughters, Carolyn Sue Cregger (Samuel Lee) of Narrows, VA, Linda Hazelwood (Joe) of Lindside, WV and Dehronda Buckland (Lewis) of Bozoo, WV; his brother Malcum Mark Trivette (Zola) of Tucson, AZ; his stepson Stephen Sneed (Dawn) of Bristol, VA; and his daughter-in-law Judy Boothe Trivette of Narrows, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in honor of Basil be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (P.O. Box 97339, Washington DC 20077-7472).
