Zelda Dove Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zelda Dove of Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on August 2, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Columbus Montgomery; her husband Rev. Floyd Dove; her siblings, Mary Farley, Clyde Montgomery and Claude Montgomery; and her stepdaughter Mildred Hensley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Ware (Grady) of Crimora, VA and Sandra Knight (Boots) of Petersburg, WV; her grandchildren, Dustin, Dakota Lockard, Jonathan Knight of Petersburg, WV, Jayne Combs of Maysville, WV, Jennifer Douglas of Maryland and Brittany Opperman of Petersburg; her stepchildren, Swannee Thomas (Dan) of Somerset, KY, Marylin Gilman (Garland) of Delbarton, WV, James Dove (Jeanie) of Petersburg, WV, Steve Dove (Shirlene) of Chattaroy, WV, Thomas Dove (Joyce) of Chattaroy, WV and Ray Dove (Loretta) of Chattaroy, WV; and her nephews, Clifford, John and Tim Farley. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
