He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Ray Stump, Sr. and Patricia Catherine Stump (Riggleman); and his brother Jesse Stump. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stump (Kuykendall); his children, Brent Stump (Melonie), Bryan Stump (Bethany) and Brandy Rodgers (Mike) of Lahmansville, WV; his grandchildren, Nikki, Cody, Tisha, Ethan and Carson; his great grandchildren, Kameron, Noah and Addy; his siblings, Ranetta Hall of Petersburg, WV, Susie Lawson (David) of Petersburg, WV and Ray Stump, Jr. of Maysville, WV; and his close friend Allen Rexroad.
