It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Franklin Kuykendall of Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loss Samuel Kuykendall and Anne Mary Kuykendall (Hall); and his siblings, Samuel, Frederick, Melvin, Tommy Kuykendall, Ruth Alt, Mildred Westfall, Blanche Plauger and Alice Kuykendall.
He is survived by: his children, Roy W. Kuykendall of Petersburg, WV, Andrew Wayne Kuykendall of Inwood, WV and Debra D. Kuykendall of Front Royal, VA; his grandchildren, Roy Jason Calhoun, Stephanie Lynn Wood, Bryan Jeffrey Shreve, Jessica Valerie Shreve and Skylar Kuykendall; his great grandchildren, Cameron Wood, Lila Brooke Wood, James Wood and Jossalyn Elaina Cullers; and his siblings, Donnie Kuykendall Kuykendall (Annabell) of Petersburg, WV and Patsy Webb Rohrbaugh (Gary) of Petersburg, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
