With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Mae Mace of Petersburg, West Virginia, born in Lahmansville, West Virginia, who passed away on June 26, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Preston Keplinger and Cora Emily Keplinger (Dettinburn); her husband Coolidge T. Mace; her daughter Joann Mace; and her siblings, Anna Merle Cook and Victor R. Kepinger.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Shoemaker (Jim) of Romney, WV, Reva Kile (Allan) of Petersburg, Maxine Foor (Terry) of Romney, WV, Judy Kordbacheh (Shahrokh) of Greensboro, NC, Tammy Cheraghi (Ali) of Germantown, MD and Thurman Mace (Vicki) of Moorefield, WV. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great -grandchildren.
Family suggests that memorials may be made to Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center, 127 Early Avenue, Petersburg, WV or Faith Assembly of God Church.
