It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Landis Jr. of Petersburg, West Virginia, born in Riverton, West Virginia, who passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Landis and Mary Kerlin Landis (Sponaugle); and his siblings, Charles Landis, John Landis and Kitty Ann Simmons.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Landis (Welton); his sons, Richard Thomas Landis (Joanna) of Morgantown, WV and Michael Ray Landis (Louise) of Petersburg, WV; his grandchildren, Thomas Joseph Landis, Andrea Nicole Landis, Giovanna Rose Landis and Jonathan Michael Landis; his great grandchild Grayson Cole Campbell; and his siblings, Robert Landis (Wanda) of Franklin, WV, Jimmy Landis of Michigan, Olin Landis (Doris Elaine) of Franklin, WV, Larry Landis (Lynn) of Jackson, MS and Dolly Jean Neilson of Franklin, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
