She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester George and Laura Etta George (Kile); her husband Stanley K. Helmick, Sr.; her son Stanley Keith Helmick, Jr.; and her siblings, Casper, Stanley, Andy, Gladen, Foster George, Minnie Borror, Nora Belle VanMeter, Ethel Davis, Catherine Kesner and Rebecca Kile.
She is survived by: her children, Martie Helmick of Petersburg, WV, Bradley Helmick (Tina) of Yorktown, VA and Gregory Helmick (Barbara) of Nokesville, VA; and her siblings, Linda Kile of Franklin, WV, Joy Marie Lantz of Upper Tract, WV, Charlie George (Tammy) of Upper Tract, WV and Raymond George of Upper Tract, WV.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
