She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel C. Kisamore and Clara Catherine Kisamore (Dolly); her former husband Dawes C. Phares; her husband Charles M. "Sonny" Dickerson; her children, Daniel C. Phares, Delbert C. Phares, Dawes Calvin Phares, Jr., Jean E. Phares and Joan Elaine Phares; her sons-in-law, Gene Lambert and Harold "Hap" Troglia; and her siblings, Velma Lyon, Verda Bennett, Vercie Carr, Esther Vernon, Otie Whitaker, Myrtle Kisamore, Burl Kisamore, Marvin Kisamore and Jonas Kisamore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy E. Lambert of Max Meadows, VA, Jayne E. Ramsey (Scott) of Goodview, VA and Joy E. Phares-Troglia of Fort Myers, FL; and her great great grandchild Numerous. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren.
