She was predeceased by: her parents, Dyer Lough Mongold and Myrtle Mary Mongold (Hall); her husband Denver Lee Alt Sr.; her siblings, Larry Dyer Mongold, James Edward Mongold and Mary Ann Black (Mongold); and her sister-in-law Kay Mongold.
She is survived by: her children, Denver L. Alt II of Petersburg, WV and Denise R. Alt of Petersburg, WV; her granddaughters, Natasha Alt Redman and Josie VanMeter; her brother Roger W. Mongold of Petersburg, WV; and her siblings-in-law, Norman W. Black of Seneca Rocks, WV and Doris Mongold of Arthur, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
