It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dora Whetzel of Petersburg, West Virginia, born in Seneca Rocks, West Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ervin Nelson and Cora Mable Nelson (Alt); her husbands, Scott D. Miller, Jr. and Isaac W. Whetzel; her daughter Annabell Dolly; and her siblings, Pearl Burgess, Annie Turner, Hester Miller, Oney Nelson, Burl Nelson, Alva Nelson and Walter E. Nelson, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Helena Twigg (Pastor Dusty) of Petersburg, WV, Fay Miller of Petersburg, WV and Debra Dove (James E.); and her grandchildren, Scott Twigg, Dustin Twigg, Mark Anthony Wolfe, April Renee Wolfe, Donald D. Dolly and Diana Marie Kelley. She is also survived by Seven Great Grandchildren; Two Great- Great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
