He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Diane Flanagan (Robert David) of Petersburg, WV; his granddaughters, Desiree N. Turner (Patrick) and Gabriella Faith Flanagan (Rodger Miller); his great grandchildren, Bryce W. Turner of Dorcas, WV and Wyatt Kohen Miller of Dorcas, WV; his stepgranddaughter Brittany R. Shuck (Chad) of Keyser, WV; his former wife Anna K. Reel Kemp (Mallow); his sister-in-law Pauline Reel; and his pet Pebbles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
