Carroll G. Junkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 84, Carroll G. Junkins of Petersburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Boyd Junkins and Vauda Eldora Junkins (Jack); his former wife Mildred Ruth Junkins (Bosley); and his brothers, Norman Lee Junkins and Roger Wayne Junkins.
He is survived by: his wife Darline M. Junkins (Thorne); his children, Glenn Junkins of Iraq, Jeffery Champ (Ruby) of Fredericksburg, VA, Theresa Lewis (Johnny) of Romney, WV and Dianna Hinkle (Kenny) of Petersburg, WV; and his sister Ila F. Mayhew (Steve) of Mt. Storm, WV. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
